Journey into the Night Sky

Join Grandmother Nancy and Sierra for a special evening at the tipi under the canopy of the night sky at the new moon. The new moon is perfect for star gazing right through the vent at the top of the tipi!
In many traditions it is believed that we come from the stars, we are made of the stars, and we will return to the stars. Learn what makes the night sky our night sky so mysterious and alluring, listen to the stories of the stars, and take your own journey into the stars in a special journey to remember and awaken the magic within us.

This program will be held at the tipi at Rowanwood Farm located at 31 Chestnut Hill Rd Sandyhook, CT.
Bring water, blanket and anything you need to be comfortable. Wear warm thick socks as shoes are not allowed in the tipi. Layers of clothing is recommended as it can get chilly in the evenings.
