Coil Basket Weaving Workshop with Eva Newell

In this workshop, participants will construct a mini coil basket using natural fibers, such as jute and rafia. Embellish the basket with beads or other ornamentation for a unique creation.
We are pleased to host artist and educator Eva Newell (Member of Pokanoket Tribe, Pokanoket Nation; Cape Sable Island Wampanoag, Nauset and Cree descent).
Please note: Due to the patience and dexterity required for this project, this workshop is best suited for participants ages 12 and up. Space is limited and pre-registration is requested.
